Welcome to “Dollar Deals”! These resources are no frills, ready to use stations, centers, lessons, and activities. Each is only a dollar because there are no “frills” or extras. Hope you find them useful!
Students shuffle the “deck” and deal 5 cards to each player. Their job is to make the largest possible number in their hand without letting others see. When everyone is ready, each player selects ONE card to draw from an opponent's hand. Now students need to rearrange their cards to make the biggest number now that they have a new card!
When all players are ready, everyone will lay down their 5 digit number, read it aloud, and decide which player had the biggest number. That player gets a point. Students can decide to play the best of 5 rounds, for a certain amount of time, or until one player wins a set number of rounds (like 3).
