Reciprocal Learning Strategy is a student pairing strategy in which one student is the player while the other coaches and then students reverse the roles.
This activity is self-checking. Make a 2-sided copy. Student A finds the domain and range of four graphs on Card 1 while Student B coaches and uses the answers on Card 2 to check the work. Students then reverse the roles.
I have students write their answers on their mini whiteboards or in their notebooks. I usually put this activity in sleeves (page protectors) so that I can use a class set with all six classes.
The activity reinforces writing the domain and range in set notation.
