There are 20 “domain and range of functions” questions in this worksheet, each in a box. They are labelled “A” to “T” in blue and red boxes. Finding the range can be very challenging, so a separate version of the worksheet is included, where only the domain has to be found.
Cut the boxes out and place them into a container. I often print an extra copy, to make sure there are enough boxes for all kids, in case some get lost. Students pick out random question boxes, solve the question, show it to the teacher and then stick it to their sheet. If their answer is the same as what is on their sheets, they stick it directly on.
Another way to use this worksheet if to let the students work in groups of two, one completing game 1 and one completing game 2. Here, the kids can cut the boxes themselves and stick them in the correct part of their worksheet.
Answers are included. There is also a tabulated version of the answers so that the teacher can check the students’ progress easily and quickly.
