In this worksheet students use a data table with information about the traits of dogs to answer ten genetics questions. Students need to be able to solve Punnett squares and have an understanding of the following vocabulary words in order to be successful with this worksheet: dominant, recessive, genotype, phenotype, homozygous, heterozygous, and purebred.
I use this worksheet for advanced seventh grade science students, but it can easily be used for higher grades. The worksheet can be used as a form of assessment as well.
