Use this Power Point to practice identifying and describing domino patterns. As students become more adept at identifying and describing, I then quickly "double" arrow from "blank" slide to "blank" slide to have a "flash" effect. Students have to tell me what they remember having seen. I also mix up the slides to keep it challenging. We use the text at the top as a basis for our oral language (sentence frames). Students "turn and talk" so that one partner asks, "How many red are there?" and the partner answers, "I see 2 reds. How many blues are there?" and the first partner responds, "I see 2 blues. How many are there all together?" The 2nd partner responds, "There are 4 all together."
