** This resource is included in the Bundle - Percent Increase and Percent Decrease
In this activity, students solve 12 word problems about percent of change. The problems include both percent of increase and percent of decrease. A few cards require students to analyze a table or graph to find the percent of change. The graphs are line graphs or bar graphs.
These dominoes have a self-checking aspect. When students solve the problem on the first domino, the answer is on another domino. Students continue solving problems until they reach the end.
This resource includes instructions, a set of domino cards, a student record sheet, the same word problems as a student worksheet, and an answer key.
This activity can be completed by individual students or in small groups or at math centers. Some ways the resource could be implemented are:
(1) Card activity – students work out the answers on a record sheet (included)
(2) Laminated cards with dry erase markers – students complete the work on the card
(3) Cut and paste activity – students complete in their math notebooks
(4) Independent practice or homework – students complete on a worksheet (included)
