Conspiracies are always occurring, and the main reason they start is because the public questions things done that don't have actual evidence to support, or maybe they do have evidence but it’s not enough to prove correct. Modern day conspiracies just seem like another thing, as they are constantly going around because social media makes them accessible to everyone. Even though a conspiracy doesn’t seem like that big of deal anymore, one conspiracy that keeps popping up after hearing his name is the Donald Trump and Russian Ties conspiracy, whether that includes Putin in Trump, or Russian hackers messing with the election and the electoral votes.
1. Facts: Background of Conspiracy:
“Throughout the 2016 presidential election, President Trump not only refused to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin, but was even friendly and accommodating in his remarks. In his own words, President Trump called President Putin “highly respected."
“President Trump has also surrounded himself with people who do business with and are sympathetic to Russia. The New York Times reported that members of Trump’s 2016 campaign and other Trump associates had frequent contact with senior Russian intelligence officials throughout the campaign.”
