Product Description
A game where students practice recognizing problems that are true (equal) and others that are false (an inequality).
Directions on how to play:
*Print/copy on cardstock and laminate for durability.
*Students mix up the problem cards (with yellow bird) and place them face down in a pile. Stack the inequality (purple bird) and equality (green bird) in their own separate piles, face up.
*The first student draws the card from the problem stack, looks at it and places it in front of them. They then choose a purple or green bird to show whether the answer is equal to the problem, or not equal. The rest of the group must agree before the next player goes.
*Play continues until all the problem cards have been selected. Students then count how many cards of each kind they have and use their cards to record on the activity sheet.
