These task cards are a great review of comma skills. My students really struggle with writing run-on sentences, and they tend to use dashes and parentheses too often when they could simply use a comma. I plan on using these as an assessment for my students. We use a highly scripted/directed textbook, but frequently, I see a need for my students to work on a skill a little more than what is provided in the book.
I also like to use task cards because my students have learning differences and require a little less conventional learning activities. They like to get up and move around, so task cards work perfectly for them!
There are 20 task cards, some with multiple choice. Others require students to rewrite sentences fixing run-ons, expanding sentences, and combining sentences, helping students add a little variety to their own writing. There is a 2-page recording sheet for students as well as an answer key for teachers.
I hope these work well for you and your students!
