PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Often times, children are told not to draw on the walls, yet some artists in the past did! The Lascaux Cave is home to very famous prehistoric paintings. This lesson plan describes how to teach young students about prehistoric art and set up a group art activity.

This download includes a PowerPoint presentation that gives age-appropriate information about Lascaux geared towards early elementary students. The lesson plan is a PDF and it provides instruction about teaching a drawing activity and group art project.

Additionally, there are 16 small Lascaux cave painting pictures to print for student reference to use during the group activity. There are 4 photographs per page, which are saved as a PDF file. Just print as many an needed, laminate, and cut apart.
