Product Description

This is a PowerPoint that can be used to teach students about the brain using Dr. Dan Seigel's hand model of the brain. It was made with 1st graders as the target grade level. Various breathing activities have been included at the end, which I teach 1 a day until I've gone through them (1st grade). There is also a slide to introduce a Calming Corner if you plan on having on in your room. For that, I introduce the space, along with the timer, then introduce a new item to put in the basket every few days/each week. Tips for that are noted in the footnotes.
