This is a partner or small group game that can be used to practice many skills. There are six sets of cards for this game. You can choose one set or mix-and-match!

To play, each student needs a Snowmen mat. Add three melted snowman cards per student to the set of cards. Shuffle the cards and place face down. Students will take turns picking a card. If they get a melted snowman card, they place the card on top of one of the snowmen on their mat. The game ends when one student has melted all three of their snowmen.

The six sets of cards cover the following skill areas:

1) Letter Names/Letter Sounds (both uppercase and lowercase)

2) Sight Words (this is EDITABLE!)

3) CVC Words

4) Representing Numbers to 10

5) Addition Within 5

6) Subtraction Within 5

Color and black-and-white versions are included.
