Donut Scavenger Hunt
This Scavenger hunt is a great way to get your students familiarized with their classroom in a fun and engaging way. It's also a great excuse to eat donuts!
This resource includes:
Donut Scavenger Hunt Editable Sheet: Type out the clues about different areas in your class that you want your students to find. Copy one for each student. For younger students who are not quite readers, parents or a guardian should read the clues and help their child with the hunt.
Donuts: Print in color or B/W on colored paper. Place the donuts in the areas of the class you wrote clues about. Students will then go around the class, find the donuts, and glue them to the Scavenger Hunt Sheet. You may want to leave glue next to each area where they find the donuts, or give them a glue stick with the sheet at the start of the scavenger hunt.
Donut Sign and Tags: Display the sign on a table, preferably with donuts.
As students and parents complete the hunt give them a donut. You can also print out the tags and write a personalized note on the back to hand out to students.
This resource is perfect for Orientation, Back to School, or Meet the Teacher.
