This interactive writing journal will give your students a weekly, enjoyable writing activity to last the entire school year. There are fun, fill-in pages that require your students to brainstorm and think deeply, while giving you an insight into their personal lives. There are also extended response prompts with fun topics.
This whimsical journal is designed with hand-drawn doodles that students can color while they're writing. It's perfect for morning bell work! In my opinion, these journals are appropriate for 3rd - 6th grade students (although my 9th grade daughter wants a set).
This set includes 40 unique writing activity pages plus two bonus sheets that can be used over and over again. The first bonus is a reading response sheet that can go along with any book. It asks the questions Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? The second bonus is titled "Topic of the Day." You can assign a topic, pass out the sheet and let them go!
Three-hole punch these sheets, put them in the morning work tray (and a couple in the sub folder), and your students' writing binders will create themselves.
Finally, there are 10 unique cover pages that you can customize with each student's name. Allow them to pick their favorite, color it, and add their own name. (There is an included Powerpoint document, in case you want to type their names.)

, complete with monthly calendars and weekly goal sheets, set in the same doodle style. It would complete your binders quite nicely.
