You have finally helped your students learn the behavior and actions of being a good friend. The next step is to teach them how to introduce their new friend to others! This packet contains 51 sample phrases to introduce friends to other communication partners. The names used in this packet include a wide diversity of ethnicities.Names of friends include a wide diversity of ethnicities. It will be your students' job to decide of the flash card demonstrates a good or bad way to introduce someone. Use this packet to help your students learn of three different ways to introduce a friend:

By saying something negative
By identifying something their friend is good at, or a description of them
By declaring something your friend and the new communication partner have in common

In addition the the 51 sample introductions, this packet also includes directions, two kinds of sorting worksheets. A simple one has a smile and an X, so students can sort cards into positive or negative piles. This sheet is also provided in black and white to save teachers' money on printing ink. A more in-depth sorting worksheet allows for students to sort cards into the three categories mentioned above.
