Basic concepts, following directions, paint daubers, bingo markers, easy level, preschool, kindergarten, special education, speech therapy, spatial, temporal, quality, quantity, social-emotional, print and go
This unit is completely in black and white, so print and go! Teaching young children basic concepts is very important for school success. Children who understand basic concepts well read and comprehend better. This is because having a firm grasp of basic concepts helps a child build his or her foundation for learning and becoming a good student.
Four types of basic concepts include; spatial, temporal, quantity, quality, and social-emotional. I realized I needed to make a simpler version of my other Basic Concepts unit, because some of my students were much lower in their basic concepts. It had to be simple and eye catching so that’s where this unit was born!
