Kindergarteners and first graders love this game! The students play with a partner taking turn making a line that connects two dots vertically or horizontally. If they close a square, they have to read the sight word. If they read it correctly, they color in the square. If they don't, their partner colors it in. Each student uses a different color. The student with the most squares at the end wins.
In this set, there are 32 games (8 using Kindergarten sight words and 25 using first grade sight words). These games are great for literacy centers, early finishers, and sight word homework (play with a family member). It also includes a direction sheet along with an index that states the words in each game. These games were created using the Wonders Word List. Each game adds the new sight words for each week.
