This Anytime Activity is designed to complement the classic musical composition “Dot and a Line
: A Romance of Lower Mathematics” that was created in 1965. Questions keep students accountable to paying attention the the narration. At the end there are questions such as “Relate the romantic story of the dot and line to another romance you have seen in a story, poem, book, or movie. Explain why you chose this particular romance” to help students tie this piece together with some of the literary elements and pieces they may have learned. The title of the handout is hyperlinked to the YouTube video. An answer key is also provided.
This is also a great math emergency sub plan!
