Students play this game to practice 2-digit vertical addition and subtraction. There are several versions in order to differentiate and best meet the needs of your students (all versions look the same, but are titled differently to differentiate between the different skill focus). See below for game directions and versions. A recording sheet is also included for students to show their work when solving the equations.
****PLEASE NOTE…..THIS GAME STAYS WITHIN 100 (therefore there is only regrouping to the tens place).
This game requires no cutting, so you can just print and play!

Directions: Each player uses a different color of counters (or marker). Players take turns choosing a square and solving the equation. If the player solves the equation correctly, they get to cover/color that square. The first player to cover a line of four is the winner. The line can go across, down or diagonally.
