Use this game to help your students practice division with double digit divisors! The game also incorporates addition, subtraction, and multiplication!
Materials needed include this game board (one for each pair of students), game pieces (I use beads), and dice. Students need a pencil and paper.
Students roll the dice and move the number of spaces indicated. Each space gives a dividend (3 or 4 digits) and a clue as to what the divisor should be for that problem. (Divisor Clue example: add the month and date you were born to get your divisor). Students work with a partner and while Player 1 is solving the division problem, Player 2 will check Player 1's work using multiplication. Then, they switch!
