Teacher Prep Advice:
Print pages 2-5 as many times as you like on differently colored cardstock. This will help you with cleanup if cards fall on the floor and need sorting. Cut out the cards, write answers on the back, and store everything in a sandwich sized plastic zip bag.
Use this game as a fun tool for practicing subtraction with and without regrouping. Introduce this game after a lesson on regrouping.
Teach children how to use a paperclip and pencil as a spinner. Show them how to set up a 5x5 grid with the free space in the middle. Provide discs or other items to cover spaces. Point out that the frog cards require regrouping.
