This game can be used to practice and reinforce the use of double object pronouns. Students play in pairs and need a set of two dice. Each partner takes turns rolling both dice. One of the dice should represent the red column and one should represent the green column. Once they've rolled the numbers, they should form a sentence replacing direct and indirect objects with the direct and indirect pronouns. They then say the completed sentence out loud to their partner. If they do the sentence correctly, they get to add the numbers of the two dice together for their point total. If they miss it, they earn zero points. Then it is their partner's turn. Play continues until one of the partners reaches a predetermined number of points. I usually have my students play until someone reaches 50.
