This exercise is great for a hands on review of double object pronoun replacement and the word order. Instead of students answering questions with paper and pencil they get to piece together the sentence which some how is more fun to them. If they're wrong, they only have to slide out the wrong card and rearrange it instead of erasing.
I give students the half sheet of tangible setence parts first to cut up. Then I use my LCD to project the questions that are attached to the activity. The students then piece together the answer, and I walk around the room checking and giving feedback on what they might need to fix. After ample time I write the answer on the board for them to all check.
