Double Ten Frames help introduce primary students to the idea of place value. By playing this game, they can learn that numbers in the teens are comprised of a set of 10, represented by a full ten frame, and some extras, represented by a partially filled ten frame. Playing Double Ten Frame Dominoes will allow students to practice important foundational math skills and learn from each other while having fun the whole time!
This double ten frame domino set can be used as a fun math center or a free choice activity for students learning numbers 11-19. Set comes with 80 dominoes (8 pages of 10 dominoes). For best results, print on cardstock, laminate and cut along the darker lines. Students take turns matching numerals and double ten frames in this fun adaptation of dominoes.
Aligned with Common Core Standards for Number & Operations in Base 10 for grades K-1.
