These penguin task cards can be used in many different ways. In my classroom, I cut out the penguins and put them up around the room. Then, my students put the work pages on clipboards and go around the room answering the addition problems in the corresponding boxes.
This activity also includes a “Create Your Own” page for early finishers. The students will create their own four addend problems and make the answer key to go with it.
It's a great activity to get the students up and moving around the room during math. Plus, the math problems are on cute, hand drawn penguins!
