This is a worksheet I created for students to practice double digit addition with and without regrouping.
Students can work in pairs or alone to complete this activity.
Student 1 will roll 2 dice and write the number in the roll 1 spot then student 2 will roll the dice and record the number in the roll 2 spot. They will then transfer the numbers to the boxes. There is a space provided for students to draw base then blocks to help them solve regrouping.
Once students record the numbers they can build with base ten blocks and include a picture. Then they solve the problem and make sure to carry the 1.
I hope your students will enjoy playing this game to practice double digit addition with regrouping.
**Recently just added an extra page with 3 boxes to do triple digit addition. Hope this helps you to differentiate and extend students.
