I love using the strategy of Touch Points with my students.
I run into two major problems when using this strategy: the problems are too small and they are not age appropriate!
A lot of times worksheets that have touch points have very little kiddie graphics. Since I teach 4th and 5th graders, this isn't age appropriate. Just because a student is still working on more basic strategies doesn't mean their worksheets have to look babyish.
Here is a "stylish" version of two digit addition with regrouping and touch points! I have even added a box to prompt the students to use the regrouping strategy.
