This is a worksheet I created for students to practice double digit subtraction with and without regrouping.
Students can work in pairs or alone to complete this activity.
Student 1 will roll 2 dice and write the number in the roll 1 spot then student 2 will roll the dice and record the number in the roll 2 spot. They will then transfer the numbers to the boxes. There is a space provided for students to draw base then blocks to help them solve regrouping. They will need to make sure they choose the number that is larger in the tens place to be on top.
Once students record the numbers they can build with base ten blocks and include a picture. Then they solve the problem and make sure to show their work.
I hope your students will enjoy playing this game to practice double digit subtraction with regrouping.
