Our math books usually spend one day on each strategy, which usually isn’t enough practice for mastery. A good math plan would be to pick one strategy to review each week and spend about 5 - 10 minutes per day reviewing it. Your students will learn their facts much quicker when they have strategies mastered to help them!
This packet focuses on Doubles. I designed these for the weeks I reviewed doubles throughout the school year. I send a sheet home as a weekly review for extra practice. It helps the parents review the strategy with their child. These sheets will also work great as an in-class assignment. We have great results in our classroom!
