This is a set of two math books in one! They were placed together to help students with doubles and doubles plus one. One is a picture book, and the other is a workbook.
Doubles at the Circus!, Doubling Two to Twenty Sums is a 24 page, picture book with few words (as addition sentences) to help students with double facts from one to ten. This is a terrific item printed as a regular size book, 8.5" by 8.5" and used as a whole group reading. And, it can be printed as multiple pages to one sheet to allow students to have their very own little copy. (I did this and students love it. See below for directions.)
Flowers are Blooming!, Doubles and Doubles Plus One was created to assist students in learning the concept of using a double to add a larger (plus one) addition problem. Students first solve the double. Then they are given the double addition problem plus one. This is a terrific item to allow students to see that 8+9 is the same as 8+8+1. The last pages include a review of all the addition problems without the sums, so students can place the sums with the correct problems and have their own mini version chart. This is a PDF, and you may be able to print four to a sheet. (I did this and it worked out fantastic to make a mini book. See below for the directions.) You may also want to print a large, card stock version for your classroom use. It is a nice practice and teaching tool.
The following steps tell how I make miniature books with this PDF and Adobe Reader.

7. Click on Print.
8. Cut pages horizontally underneath every two pages (example: cover and page one + one).
9. Vertically fold each horizontal strip into half, and place the now folded pages in order.
10. Last, the little books are stapled.
I see that you have Flowers are Blooming!, Doubles and Doubles Plus One listed by itself as well. What's the difference between that one and the one included in this item?
I'm glad you asked; there are a few differences.
First, this one comes with an additional 24 page, picture book titled Doubles at the Circus!, Sums Two to Twenty.
Second, you may NOT make copies of this one for other teachers. But, you CAN still make copies for your students!
Third, this is 8.5" by 8.5" while the other is slightly larger.
Next, this goes up to 10 + 10 and 10 + 11. The other goes up to 12.
Last, some changes have been made to the interior colors of the flowers and grass.
Do you have Doubles at the Circus! Sums Two to Twenty by itself?
I'm currently not selling this by itself. This is a new edition and the Flowers are Blooming! is included with all the new changes of Doubles at the Circus. Thank you for your interest! If you really want just the Doubles at the Circus by itself, please just contact me with a request.
