Welcome to “Dollar Deals”! These resources are no frills, ready to use stations, centers, lessons, and activities--and this one focuses on doubles facts! Each game is only a dollar because there are no “frills” or extras. Hope you find them useful!
This resource is an instructional game geared toward helping students learn and review their “doubles” facts. I use this game after doing work to build the concept of “doubling” with manipulatives and other modeling. This is designed to help students get more efficient and “fluent” with these facts. There are four ready to use game boards to use with a small group and a blank board if you wish to design your own.
The cards have phrases like “double 5” which is represented by “10” on the game board—but also a few challenge cards (ex. “double double 3” to show 12 or “half of 28” to show 14) that you can use or leave out. They are marked on the pages with gray shading. Have fun!
