What better way to learn, memorize and practice the doubles facts than a spirited game of Uno?
To save color ink, we substituted shapes for the colors traditionally used in an Uno deck, giving your students practice recognizing shapes and doubles facts in the same game.
In order to play a card, players must match numbers and doubles facts, shapes or the classic Uno actions, like draw 2, skip and reverse.
If a player plays a number card, they must read the number out loud and also say the doubles fact that equals that number.
