The NO PREP version is ready to go, just "make a copy" for each student and then share (Google Classroom works best! If you do not use Google Classroom, you will need to be able to share the link with your students e.g. Seesaw, a class webpage, Wakelet, QR Code, etc...).
- You will NOT have access to the data
Students will have the opportunity to practice:

This Digital Breakout Includes:
Step by Step Directions - Print and Video
Student Google Slides w/ locks
Answer Key and Clues
→ Word Lock - Students will read each Fun Fact and find the hidden letters.
→ Color Lock - Students will drag and drop the correct character trait to each sentence.
→ Direction Lock - Using the Fun Fact, students will follow the events to the image of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. beginning at “START HERE."
→ Number Lock - Students will read each definition and then choose the correct vocabulary word. If correct, they earn a clue, if not, they go back to the original slide.
FAQ:
1. Should I use present mode? No, students need access to the entire slide deck.
2. Where do I find the clues? Students should click on the "Click HERE for the clue," then click on the long BLUE URL. Some clues "force" students to make a copy. This allows them to manipulate the resource. Once the clue is solved, students will need to return to the original slide deck. (Be assured that students catch on quickly)
3. Where do students click "submit?" In order for students to "breakout", they must click on "Click HERE or Click HERE to unlock the lock," then click on the BLUE URL. They will receive either a green check (good to go) or a red x (close the window and try again).
