Dr. Martin Luther King worked for equality of all people by supporting nonviolent activities during the Civil Rights Movement. His message of justice, hope, love are mentioned as the author uses her pictures to take the viewers to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, DC and explain the symbolism of the memorial.
