This super fun and engaging Dr. Seuss themed math center game allows students to practice number recognition, counting, adding, and subitizing. This set includes 4 mats with numbers 2-12. This game is played in pairs. Each kiddo will need about 15 counters and each pair will need 2 dice. Flat discs work best, but linkable cubes would work as well.
Students will roll the dice and count the dots or add the numbers together. They will then cover the number/sum on the game board with one of their counters. If another player’s counter is there, they will BUMP it off! If their own counter is already there, they will stack it up and freeze the number, so it can’t be bumped. The player with the most numbers covered at the end is the winner.
