An indirect characterization lesson powerpoint using the Cat in the Hat.
Students will guided through the lesson using the LAST-O method (this can be edited) Looks, actions, speech, thoughts and others. If you have another method you can edit this part.
You will need to provide your own copy of Cat in the Hat. What I did is have students bring in a copy and the groups shared them for the independent practice section.
Included are: Power Point of lesson walking students through the indirect characterization method.
Printable editable graphic organizer
Notes for interactive notebook on characterization.
The answers for the modeling section are already written on the chart, you could cover up or add animation to reveal. It's all up to you! make it your own!
