PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a great activity to use with the Dr. Seuss Book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish that also focuses on the Common Core Standard of decomposing teen into a group of tens and some ones left over.

Students use Goldfish Crackers to build teen numbers by putting ten goldfish in to the goldfish bowl and leaving some outside. They then record the number sentence explaining the decomposition of the teen number.

My students loved this activity on our Dr. Seuss Day and it gave them great practice with decomposing teen numbers!
