This is a cute activity to have students complete after reading Dr. Seuss's There's a Wocket in my Pocket to work on rhyming.
Students color the pocket, cut it out, outline the back sides and bottom with glue (NOT THE TOP) and put it in the middle of the writing page. Then, they can color the Wockets, cut them out and put them on popsicle sticks to go in the pocket.
At the bottom of the page, they should create rhyming words to go on each line.
If they have time, I let my students create their new creation to put on a popsicle stick for their pocket.
