Reinforcing and reviewing rhythmic patterns utilizing syncopa (syncopation) while addressing the Orff and Kodaly music curriculum has just become fun and exciting with this student interactive rhythm game. Your elementary music students will love watching Dracula dance when they select the correct answer! Perfect for October, Halloween, fall or anytime you are working on the concept!
The product contains 15 student interactive game slides (created with PowerPoint 2013 tested on 2010). Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on Dracula to hear a rhythmic pattern. They will then click on the answer that matches the rhythm they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they were able to determine which rhythm was played or if they need to listen again. There are 7 slides working with one measure examples and 8 slides working with 2 measure examples. Watch their eyes as Dracula dances when they are correct! The product works well with Smartboards! Students just have to touch the board to activate the animations.
An excellent observation or assessment tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.
The product was created to be compatible for Mac users. However, please download the preview as a test prior to purchasing!
