A dragon has come into your classroom and left a present for all of your students! Where could he have hidden it? Have your students solve each clue to find the "Dragon Eggs." When I used this with my Kindergarten class, we first read "Dragons Love Tacos" by Adam Rubin and found the first clue at the back of the book. The prize at the end was a chocolate egg (like the ones you can find around easter time) for each student! As we read each clue, we searched for the rhyming words and discussed how the two words rhyme. This was a great activity for rhyming skills and text comprehension!
**I printed this document on a marble-looking paper so it looked "old" and then used a lighter to burn the edges off so it looked like a dragon wrote it! The kids LOVED the look of the clues.
