Teach your students about the beautiful and amazing dragonfly and then have your little ones take home this adorable craft! To facilitate discussion, I project 6 slides onto my classroom whiteboard. Each tells an interesting fact about dragonflies. Then I have my students complete the dragonfly worksheet which labels the 3 parts of an insect: head, thorax, abdomen. To wrap up this fun unit, we make a dragonfly to take home – using just a plastic spoon! Wing patterns included. Enjoy learning about this beautiful bug!
