Product Description
There's a lot more to consider on the first day of a drama class. Not only do you want to learn names, go over the class rules and the marking schemes, introduce the units that you'll be teaching, but you'll also want to get the students up and working and to set the tone for how they are to work with you and their classmates.

In this brief document, I go over the ways in which I approach the first day, what I'm focusing on and what procedures I want to put into place. The first day can be intimidating, exhausting and exhilarating, all in equal measures, it also needs to be filled with activities which will draw the class together and begin the process of getting to know each other.

In this document there are 5 activities that I usually go through on the first day of classes plus their explanation and goals.

I hope this might help some of you.
