This is a handout that I give before course selection happens, to both our grade 9's and 10's in drama class.
It deals with a very real problem - students often don't enrol in drama class again because they feel like,
"why would I take drama if I'm not going to study drama?"
This reflection asks them to look at what drama class gives them that their other classes don't.
I find that by reflecting and writing about this, they really get new insight into the importance of drama class - it's about communication, memories, teamwork, and so many other NECESSARY life skills. This reflection brings these things to light for them.
