This helps students really focus on BODY LANGUAGE.
I use it as a part of my MIME/TABLEAU units, but it also works great as an intro worksheet during the first week of class, to get students used to the idea that your body speaks louder than your words.
I assign it as homework, and do a follow-up workshop the next day where students have to re-create the body language, and other students guess at who it was/the emotion...we talk through it.
You can also make it a fun in-class project, where they secretly sit around the school (during lunch period) and complete it.
Really versatile, fun, and practical.
