This is used to introduce students to the idea of MIME, and the different elements of a successful mime.
It explains the idea of ETFU (explore / touch / feel / use) and consistency and resistance.
They absolutely need to understand these two concepts before they start playing with mime - they're the building blocks for the whole unit.
NOTE - there's those images at the bottom of the balloon, chair, door etc. because they're the classic mime subjects that artists play with. We use these as a quick warm-up at the start, before even reading the handout itself.
There's a bonus page on the elements of a good story. This really helps the students focus on keeping it simple - which is important for mime!
