This is a follow-up to the MIME HANDOUT in my shop.
It starts with exercises to use as part of a mime workshop - where students pair off and practice different mime techniques using ETFU.
They're to focus on RE-acting, and the art of this.
You can even have them present just these scenerios alone, or move onto the MIME TIME performances.
This is usually done on the follow-up day, with one day for rehearsal (at least), one day for performances. They're done in bigger groups, with more complicated storylines.
They're a lot of fun! Challenging for students, but definitely successful.
TIP - to get them used to the idea of RE-acting, I have them do a silent re-action to different scenarios, using their faces
Ex - you're watching two people break up / you're hearing a secret about your enemy / you're listening to someone compliment you etc.
Also, you could watch examples of Will Smith in "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" - his reactions are PRICELESS!
