Drama Tool Class Play Production Rubric

- PDF

Description
Here is a drama tool for teachers to use with a class production. It is fully editable and includes what a teacher can expect from students--acting, blocking, cooperative learning, willingness to be directed memorization, etc.
Forty years ago, I directed my first class play. Prior to this job, I directed plays outside of the classroom, but this was different! I had no idea how to grade the students for their participation in the production. At first, I was naive and thought the students would know what was expected of them, but how could novices know what to do? I quickly learned they needed a grade sheet or at the very least a list of expectations during the production period.
This tool is just that!
The expectations are broken into two sections--rehearsal and performance.
This could be used in a vocal music, social studies, language arts or drama class.
