DRAMA VOCABULARY TERMS FOLDABLE
Inside the foldable are necessary words to understand the drama/readers theater genre such as: stage directions, stage, curtain call, italic words, bold words, act, playwright, play, stage left & right, scene, and much more! Inside are step-by-step instructions to put together the folding activity. The student will only need scissors and glue or a glue stick to assemble. The student can then find the definitions for the vocabulary words using color or a pencil and glue into their composition notebook.
FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE ACTIVITY FLIP BOOK
The student will write the definition and give an example of each of the figurative language styles. The student can glue in a composition notebook for easy reference of each of the styles throughout the school year.
DRAMA SCRIPTS USING FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE COMPREHENSION
These readers theater scripts are great for a third, fourth or fifth grade to practice acting out a drama while learning to recognize different styles of figurative language in written text. Once the readers theater plays are read and completed, each of the four plays contains comprehension questions that can be used as a grade. The figurative language styles added to the plays are:
