Student's will learn Mandarin’s tones and a few basic phrases through writing and kinesthetic learning. This is important because it will teach students the process of learning another language and give them the appreciation of a new language and culture.
Students will be able to perform and interpret intonations using hand movements to express the four major tones in Mandarin. Students will be able to read and understand some common words in Mandarin.
