This is a COMPLETE drama printable course semester-long bundle for both grades 9 & 10 drama (with some teachers adapting it for senior grades too!)
It's my entire drama binder put into one package, to make it easy for you to go through each unit and deliver the theatre arts curriculum.
It includes over 200 PDF pages total - and I will keep the bundle "growing" by adding as I create!
If you're a new teacher who has just been assigned drama, or if you're an experienced teacher looking to freshen up your projects, I think this would work for you.
It includes every unit of study, and with each unit it includes a unit plan, intro handouts, and enough projects for both grades 9 and 10 (with multiple options per unit)
The units that are within this bundle include:
[course outline / 20+ first week games / "getting to know you" sheet / survey / class rules / handout on how they're being marked / weekly warm-up assignment / technical theatre terms / the stage / rules of theatre / 2 intro games
[tableau intro handout with workshop / 6 assignments / storyboard handouts / rubrics]
-grade 9 = reader's theatre
-grade 10 = voice
[reader's theatre intro handout / sound effects workshop / elements of voice handout / voice emphasis handout / workshops / subtext handout / advanced use of voice handout / 5 assignments / puppetry project / rubrics / elements of voice in "The Simpsons" viewing guide]

-Grade 9 = from assigned scripts
-Grade 10 = from movie/TV/book of their choice
[rubric, character analysis questions and complete packages]
My goal with this bundle is to make it easy (AND FUN!) for you to teach the junior grades in drama...to get kids engaged, working with others, and having a blast everyday as they build their confidence and learn about themselves.
NEWLY UPDATED WITH PHYSICALITY HANDOUT/A NEW VOICE PROJECT AND A NEW TABLEAU PROJECT!
A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:
-included are many generic "go to" handouts that you could use with a grade 11 or 12 course as well
-they're not specifically divided into 9 and 10, because the course sometimes overlap and can be mixed and matched
- there's no actual scripts included with this bundle due to copyright reasons, however I have provided you with the names of the books/resources I use
-each unit starts with a black framed title - so you can easily make these into main TABS in your binder set-up. It'll help you organize it all easier!
I use this content over a 5 month long semester.
(not including holidays and breaks, of course)
Most projects are at least 1-2 weeks, depending (with introducing the unit / rehearsals / presentations).
To save time, or extend, you could always eliminate some of the smaller projects, so it's really flexible.
(I usually do one minor project, followed by 1 major per unit)
The CPT's and monologues are easily 3 weeks each - but of course it depends on your classes and how quickly they're working and memorizing their lines.
ENJOY! Drama really is the best course :)
